Marketing & Fundraising Committee
Christine Sheldon became a part of the board because of her daughter, Autumn. Autumn has Autism Disorder and Sensory Processing Disorder. Autumn’s diagnosis drove Christine to not just help her daughter but all children with Autism. As she witnessed all that her daughter went through Christine committed herself to guide and support as many people whose lives were touched by autism as she could. This dedication set her on a course to educate herself and to realize that she wasn’t alone in her quest to shine a light of Autism. She is thankful for the kind, caring and supportive people she has found at Sense-Ability School and working together to make this school a reality.
Ms. Sheldon is a stay-at-home mom. She has been married for fourteen years and also has a one year old son. Christine runs Sense-Ability’s two Facebook pages and she has helped other non-profits with fundraising efforts. She has both retail and service industry experience.
