Jennifer Jones

“I want to help create an environment that focuses on engaging and challenging children on the spectrum in a respectful way.”

Jennifer Jones moved to Great Falls eleven years ago from the San Francisco Bay Area.  She has spent forty-five years in sales and marketing for national and international corporations and non-profits.  She was part owner of CLVB DV8, a world renowned private entertainment club where she was also general manager.  She then went on to become West Coast Publicity Manager for Virgin Records, creating videos, publicity and imaging for many musical artists, including Janet Jackson, Boy George, Steve Winwood (Rolling Stones), David Bowie, Roy Orbison and many others.  Jennifer left Virgin Records to take the position of Corporate Sales & Manager for Club One/Club Sport, a chain of private fitness clubs.  Some of her clients were the FBI, ATF, Charles Schwab, Bank of America, Wells Fargo and countless more.

Her next move was to become Development/Advancement Director of Redwood Day School, a private K-8 school, as well as managing all fundraising campaigns (annual fundraisers, auctions, capital campaigns, endowment campaigns, etc.) and creating all fundraising materials (monthly newsletters, annual reports, fundraising outreach), she sat on the board and raised $6 million.  During this time she also helped create and was the board chair of Sports4kids, a non-profit that offers physical education during recess and after school in public schools.  This organization is now named Playworks and is international.  She left Redwood Day School to work in sales and marketing for Mercedes Benz.  In California Jennifer obtained a real estate license and volunteered on seven political campaigns.

After moving to Great Falls in 2008, Jennifer immediately became precinct captain for a presidential campaign.  She volunteered for Fort Shaw, Sun River and Simms schools and raised $17,000 for their libraries.  She served on the Sun River Valley School board for 2 years.  Jennifer was precinct captain again during the 2012 presidential campaign and has volunteered for the Great Falls Rescue Mission.  Jennifer also obtained a Montana real estate license.

Jennifer is now a wheat farmer who enjoys kayaking, is a political junkie and a dedicated gardener; canning about 150 jars of vegetables and fruits a year.  She gives many fresh vegetables and home-grown baked goods to her rural neighbors and to the Great Falls Rescue Mission.  Jennifer studied at California State University, East Bay.  Her young adult daughter, for whom she has been a constant advocate, has both Asperger’s Syndrome and Tourette’s Syndrome.  Her daughter attends Great Falls College Montana State University.
