Meet Our Teacher

Patty S. Goodmundson

As the teacher at Sense-Ability School, I create the curriculum around the students' needs. Core subjects are individualized according to their strengths and their weaknesses. When behaviors prevent the student from completing tasks, I adjust the learning strategies to focus on behavioral and social issues, until the student is successful.

The freedom to support the learning processes unique to their needs creates an accepting environment and provides not only high achievement with academics, but social and behavioral improvements for their future. Teaching at the first autism school in Montana is an honor and a privilege, as I work with many supportive professionals and see the growth and change in the students.
