Patty Goodmundson was the first teacher at the Sense-Ability School in January 2018. She had been teaching for twenty-nine years and school counseling for eighteen years at Power, Brady, Dutton, Great Falls, Choteau and Three Forks. With a B.S and M.S. degree in Elementary Education, and a certificate in school counseling, Patty decided to work towards her LCPC license as she was working with Youth Dynamics in Great Falls from 2015-2017. In November of 2017, Patty started her own private practice, Impeccable Therapy, and also agreed to teach half time at Sense-Ability School. As her private practice grew, she was willing to pass on her teaching privileges, yet continue as a board member for the school.
Patty lives in Dutton to help her two children, Kayla and Keon, with the farm management as they attend college. Her responsibilities include caring and running her kids’ dogs every night after work. Patty enjoys learning more about autism and working with children and their families who are struggling with autism and mental health issues.
